For me I’ve always liked how Yamaha synths and keyboards sound, and this was crucial for me in order to get a new synth: better sounds. ![]() Talkin’bout the sound, every brand and model has it’s own sound “character” and some people will like one and other will like a different (this is kind of subjective), but what really matters is the music, I’ve had to play with a wide range of keyboards and of course some sound better than the others but if you are able to play in a decent manner consider sound quality and character as an “extra”. ![]() I’m a “tech guy” and I get along with it very well, so I’m not very concerned about “easy of use” unless it is really way too stressful, but every brand has its own “inteface” system, so you being a guitarist would be a good idea try to get something that works well for you. I’ve had the chance to play different brands and models of synthesizers, and I was looking for a new generation keyboard (I wanted a MOTIF ES but I’m having kind a hard time trying to pay school, so, no lots of money here). I’m a young boy but I’ve been playing since I was four and giggin’ since fifteen (now I’m 22), and since I’m a keyboardist (besides being a pianist) I’m very concerned about the instrument I’m playing. ![]() Well, I’m a happy owner of an MO6 (I’ve just got it last week!), and I had to get thru the same proccess of chosing my next keyboard.
